Family Fitness Nights

Family Fitness is a year long program aimed at our KS families to bring them opportunity, resources, and the tools that will help them learn to make better food choices and to move more. At our Family Fitness Nights we will have challenges, speakers, exercise sessions, food samples, tips, recipes and more!

Walk To School Wednesday

We had so much fun walking to school last year we will have a Walking Wednesday once each month. However, in case of rain we will cancel.

Why walk?

-Great physical activity

-Teaches safe walking skills to children

-Reduces traffic congestion and pollution

-Sharing time with your child, friends and neighbors

-Walkers get a sticker

Be safe and have all children walk with an adult. Cross at corners and look both ways. Obey signals and be sure to say Hello to our Crossing Guard, Mr. Bolton!

Parking suggestions if you live too far:

1. King Valley Subdivision community pool parking lot – enter King Valley Subdivision turn left at first street, it is on the left.

2. Rhyne Park off of King Springs Road

3. The Smyrna Assembly of God across from Rhyne Park

4. Green Forest Parkway at Reed Road – park on the school side on Green Forest

5. St. Thomas Church – enter from King Springs Road and walk out the back to King Valley Road
