Responsibilities
“Teacher Appreciation Week is February 13-17, 2012″
Teacher Appreciation Week will be February 13-17. This is a special time for
us to show our teachers how much we appreciate their dedication to our
children. We would like to honor our teachers every day this week. This
year’s theme is We Love Our Academy Award-Winning Teachers!
Please take a look at the following ways we will be treating our award-winning teachers. If you have questions please contact your room parent.
Monday: Book Donation Day – Have a few parents donate a special
book for the classroom or teacher’s collection.
Tuesday: Valentine’s Day – Each student can bring in a special
card “nominating” their teacher as the best. Maybe tell the
teacher what they like most about school.
Wednesday: Flower Day – Either have each child bring in a single
flower to put in a vase or have parents purchase a nice bouquet to
give to the teacher from the class.
Thursday: School Supply Day – Find out from your teacher what
supplies may be most needed and have a few parents donate supplies for the teacher.
Friday: Pamper Your Teacher Day – Get creative on this one:
special goodies, spa items, small gifts, handmade items.
