Support the Pride:
Fund raising is the method of raising money to finance PTA programs and projects which in turn help advance the school and make it the best learning environment it can be.
Just like last year, KSE students will not be asked to sell anything for PTA–no wrapping paper, no cookie dough, no selling!! Please give as you are able and donate to the general fund of our King Springs PTA. Every contribution helps create wonderful, educational experiences for the students.
Last year SUPPORT THE PRIDE enabled the PTA to fund many items & events for KSE, including the Rocket Reader Program, Scholastic News for all grades, First in Math, gift cards for the teachers on 3 different occasions, Awards Days, as well as several beautification projects around the school & on the playgrounds. Last year the PTA gave over $21,000 in cash back to the school and staff. PTA also supports/funds Cultural Arts Day, Read Across America, Red Ribbon Week, Field Day, Dad’s Club, and multiple teacher/staff appreciation throughout the year without any additional cost.
This year the goal is $18,000 in order to meet the expenses for the KSE activities & events that PTA has already pledged to support. Anything received over that goal will be used to purchase items on our wish list: desk mover, poster maker and supplies, 2 laminators, E-Books, color printer cartridges, Big Thinkers (Science), gift cards for the teachers, and a motivational speaker for the students.
For us to continue to be successful, we need your help. We are a 501-3c and all of your donation is tax deductible. For the PTA to continue to support our pledged commitments, we are asking that each child donate at least $50. Any amount is always appreciated, however, for us to purchase our wish list items, we need more!!! So please support our cash fundraiser this year and LET US HEAR YOU ROAR!!!!
