Great News!!!
KSE is in the final round to receive $10,000 from Goody’s to help build our playground. We are 1 out of 4 schools to win the $10,000 grant. What an awesome opportunity!
Keep Smyrna Beautiful held a ceremony on March 26th giving tribute to those who have made a difference in Smyrna. An award was presented to the KSE Beautification Committee for their efforts to beautify the grounds. The daffodils out in front of the school playground are looking great!
We still need to raise money for the new playground. We would like to encourage everyone to contribute to the “Keep the Change “ program. We raised $75 at the September PTA meeting. To have your child’s name displayed on the tree for your donation contact Ksbazaar@charter.net. We will be placing jars at all school functions. We ask each person to reach into their pocket and donate their change.
We will also be selling ‘Entertainer Books’ for $20. These books have coupons for food, entertainment, Braves games, and more. The best part is that $10 will go to KSE. We will be selling the books at PTA meetings and school functions. Thank you for your support!
